Acoustics and Noise

NIRAS has extensive experience in reducing all types of noise. We employ state-of-the-art tools to make noise calculations of, for example, traffic and environmental noise and to design noise-reducing measures. Our noise specialists are based in offices across Denmark and overseas and are available at short notice.

We provide documentation for compliance with noise limits for new developments and renovation projects. We are authorised by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency to conduct noise-level measurements.

As one of the leading companies in Europe within the field of underwater noise calculations, we make calculations in connection with environmental investigations and construction projects – such as offshore wind farms, seismic surveys and expansion of marine structures and bridges.
