Pernille Blach Hansen has been appointed SVP for NIRAS Environmental sector

Pernille will head an environmental sector with a strong position in our different markets. She will continue to develop NIRAS Environment as the preferred environmental consultant through excellent expertise, innovation, cross sector/cross border collaboration, and the courage to advise thereby providing value for money for our clients.

“We are pleased to have Pernille as new Senior Vice President for the Environmental sector. We think she will supplement the strong management team we have in the Environmental sector and be a promotor of collaboration across and international expansion,” says EVP Markus Davelid.

Pernille has a background from both the private sector, including senior positions working with environment and sustainability in Grundfos and The LEGO Group, as well as in the public sector, where she has worked at municipality level and as CEO of Central Denmark Region with more than 30.000 employees. She also has a background as member of the Danish Parliament. Pernille has an extensive management experience both from line and matrix organisations, and she will become a good ambassador for NIRAS both in working across sectors and boarders, but also as a representative for NIRAS externally.

Her professional experience provides her with an extensive network, that we hope to build upon across sectors in NIRAS. Pernille will be part of the Executive Management Group and report to Markus Davelid. Pernille will start 4 March 2024, with her duty station in Aarhus, Denmark.
