FDT Consulting Engineers and Project Managers changes its name to NIRAS

Since FDT was acquired by NIRAS in 2024, the companies have cooperated ever more closely, and will in the future operate under the NIRAS brand.

NIRAS is a leading consultant to the Danish Food & Beverage and Pharma and Life Sciences industries, and the company provides consultancy to leading Food and Beverage companies worldwide.

“Since FDT joined NIRAS in 2024, we have been working closely to fully integrate the company and its employees into NIRAS. We have now reached the point where our two companies are fully integrated, and therefore it makes sense to take the next step and rename FDT to NIRAS as a reflection of this unity,” says Executive Vice President in NIRAS, Thomas B. Olsen.

Seamless integration into the global NIRAS team

FDT is the latest acquisition for NIRAS within process industry, and they have joined their existing NIRAS colleagues in Ireland to create an even stronger team to service clients across the sectors. The collaborative effort to work together on projects across countries and departments has been prevalent in the months since the acquisition, and for Thomas B. Olsen, it’s clear that this ability is instrumental in creating a strong, competitive company in the Irish market:
