Whistleblowing

NIRAS defines corruption broadly. If not managed correctly, nepotism and conflicts of interest are also on our list of corruptive behavior.

NIRAS is a well-reputed global company, known for servicing our clients with diligence and also for being an enhancing and liked workplace of our employees, permanent as well as temporary staff. Moreover, we have a declared goal of fighting corruption in all of its forms.

This we wish to maintain and safeguard, so any report on internal as well as external misuse of entrusted funds or power, mismanagement, fraud, corruption or suspicion of corruption etc. as well as harassment, bullying and discrimination at work, is important as they help us to sustain our business integrity and also to prevent economic losses.

NIRAS’ internal Whistleblowing Arrangement consists of two channels:

  • Whistleblowing that concerns corruption
  • Whistleblowing that concerns discrimination, bullying and harassment at work

For details on NIRAS’ Internal Whistleblowing Arrangement, and how to make use of it, please refer to this link:

Some countries have established a public whistleblower channel to where it is also possible for the whistleblower to report serious criminal offences and other serious issues. In Denmark this function serves under the Danish Data Protection Agency (https://whistleblower.dk/english)
